This is election year for the Friends of the Olympia Library, and May is election month. A nominating committee has been appointed and will present a slate of candidates for officers at the March 18th meeting. If anyone is interested in running for a position on the Board, they can contact Mary Flannery aFlannery09.

be mailed to the membership in late April. The new officers and directors will be elected by a majority vote of the members present and will be installed at the May meeting. They will begin their two year terms at that time.

I will be leaving the board at the end of this term, so I want to take this opportunity to say what a privilege and a pleasure it has been to serve as President of the Olympia Friends for the past four years.
