Donating your books is easy!
The Friends of the Olympia Library gratefully accept all donations of books and media in good condition. (Media: magazines, CDs, cassette tapes, DVDs, VHS tapes, records, and video games.) You can leave donations at the Olympia Library Returns counter. All donations should be in bags or boxes which can be left at the library. Donations of more than 10 boxes/bags can be accepted by appointment only so that staff or volunteers can be available to assist in the unloading process. Your donations are tax-deductible and library staff will provide you with a receipt – just ask.
If you have a lot of books and can’t bring them downtown, please e-mail our book sale coordinator Irene at Irene.firstname.lastname@example.org.
FYI: Between 1,500 and 2,000 of your book donations per year go directly into the Library’s inventory and onto the Library shelves!
