Donating your books is easy!
The Friends gratefully accept books, magazines, CDs, cassette tapes, DVDs, VHS tapes, records, and video games. You can leave donations at the Olympia Library Returns counter. If you are delivering many books, go to the staff entrance on Adams Street and ring the doorbell to the right of the door. A staff member will provide a cart and assist you with the unloading. Your donations are tax-deductible and library staff will provide you with a receipt – just ask.
If you have a lot of books and can’t bring them downtown, please e-mail our book sale coordinator Irene at Irene.firstname.lastname@example.org.
FYI: Between 1,500 and 2,000 of your book donations per year go directly into the Library’s inventory and onto the Library shelves!
