Book Sale brings in $4,736
Book Sale Chair Irene Osborn reported that more than 300 members
of the community purchased $4736.00 worth of books making
this sale our most successful to date. The teamwork by the
Friends who organized and participated in the five days of
setup and sale was professional, seamless and lots of fun.
In addition 28 new Friends ofthe Library signed up or renewed
their membership during the sale. Membership Chair Mary Flannery
wants to remind everyone that remaining on the Friends of
the Library mailing list requires an annual fee of $5.00.
To make sure your membership and support of the Friends is
current, check the date next to your name on the mailing label
of the newsletter. If the date is ‘7 your membership is current
through the end of this year. If the date is ‘6 you are not
current for this year. In order to more accurately manage
the membership list ,the Board of the Friends is asking members
to renew their memberships in January of each year.
