The greatest source of revenue for the Friends of the Olympia Library are our book sales. We hold three large sales each year. Friends get in two hours early on the first day of the sale to get the best picks.
You, and your friends and family, can help by:
- REDUCING, from your own library, the books you don’t plan to read again,
- RECYCLING by donating to the Book Sale – just drop books off whenever the Library is open, and
- REUSING the treasures donated by others by purchasing your own new treasures at the Book Sale
You can also buy books anytime inside the library behind the holds shelves. (As seen in the photo to the right!) Or check our online sales at Amazon.
Tax-deductible donations of books, magazines, CDs, and tapes are accepted at the library. (Ask the staff for a receipt if you need one.) We also need volunteers on an ongoing basis to organize books and at the big sales.
