She made special mention of the teen volunteers. During the past year, Friends has donated a sculpture by a local artists, purchased shelving units and emergency kits, and provided on-going support to adult and children’s reading programs and for staff training. Jean Finely, Friends president, gave a special note of thanks to the book sorters who meet weekly to select donated books for the book sales. They include Wanda Hedrick, Marilyn and Wayne Albro, Larry Bauman, Wilma Bullington, Joan and Tod Heilenday, Helen Keiser, Nancy and Toshiko Motomatsu, Irene Osborn, Jane Shiner, Patti Trimm and Mary Lou VonBurgen.
